About GHive.com
Ghive is a free service and social network for surf businesses to quickly get online and start promoting themselves. Ghive's aging PHP-based system had become unwieldy and difficult to manage, making the addition of new features impossible. We rewrote their system from the ground up in Ruby on Rails, while preserving and migrating their data, and bolstering their social networking and user-customization features while implementing their new design.
